दोस्ती बिकने लगे तो दुनिया जीने लायक नहीं रहेगी: आचार्य पुलक सागर महाराज
ज्ञान गंगा महोत्सव में मित्र-चरित्र, युवाओं की दिशा और सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी पर ओजस्वी प्रवचन; बोले— अन्याय पर मौन रहना सबसे बड़ा पाप

सकल दिगंबर जैन समाज द्वारा आचार्य श्री विद्यासागर मांगलिक धाम में आयोजित ज्ञान गंगा महोत्सव के अंतर्गत सोमवार को राष्ट्रीय संत आचार्य श्री 108 पुलक सागर महाराज ने मित्रता, चरित्र और सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर प्रेरणादायी प्रवचन देते हुए कहा कि “जिस दिन दोस्ती बिकने लगेगी, उस दिन दुनिया जीने लायक नहीं रहेगी। समाज विश्वास और सच्ची मित्रता की नींव पर ही खड़ा है।”
आचार्य श्री ने कहा कि आज के दौर में संयुक्त परिवारों की जगह एकल परिवार बढ़ रहे हैं। रोजगार और जीवन की व्यस्तताओं के कारण लोग अपने परिजनों से दूर होते जा रहे हैं। ऐसे समय में सच्चे मित्र ही जीवन की सबसे बड़ी ताकत बनते हैं। व्यक्ति कई बातें अपने माता-पिता से भी छिपा सकता है, लेकिन सच्चे मित्र से नहीं। उन्होंने कहा कि दोस्ती बहुत गहरी हो या न हो, लेकिन उसमें विश्वास गहरा होना चाहिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि “दोस्ती से बढ़कर कोई जागीर नहीं और दोस्ती से सुंदर कोई तस्वीर नहीं होती। यह भले ही कच्चे धागे जैसी दिखाई दे, लेकिन इससे मजबूत कोई जंजीर नहीं होती।”
आचार्य श्री ने भगवान श्रीराम के जीवन का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि वनवास के दौरान उन्होंने हनुमान, सुग्रीव और अंगद जैसे मित्र बनाए। जीवन में तीन चीजें बड़े सौभाग्य से मिलती हैं—अच्छी पत्नी, योग्य संतान और सच्चे मित्र। पत्नी जीवन का आधार बनती है, संतान वंश को आगे बढ़ाती है और मित्र जीवन में आनंद, सहयोग तथा संबल प्रदान करते हैं। पत्नी और संतान ईश्वर की देन हैं, लेकिन मित्रों का चयन मनुष्य स्वयं करता है। इसलिए जैसा हमारा चरित्र होगा, वैसे ही हमारे मित्र होंगे।
“दुर्योधन को मोबाइल नहीं, भीष्म की चुप्पी ने बिगाड़ा”
युवाओं के भटकाव पर बोलते हुए आचार्य श्री पुलक सागर महाराज ने कहा कि हर समस्या का दोष केवल मोबाइल और इंटरनेट पर डालना उचित नहीं है। महाभारत का उदाहरण देते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि दुर्योधन के दुष्कर्मों के पीछे मोबाइल या इंटरनेट नहीं था, बल्कि भीष्म पितामह का मौन सबसे बड़ा कारण था। द्रौपदी के चीरहरण जैसे अन्याय का समय पर विरोध न करना ही सबसे बड़ी भूल थी।
उन्होंने कहा कि भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का संदेश भी यही है कि समय पर सत्य और न्याय के पक्ष में आवाज उठाना ही धर्म है। अन्याय पर मौन रहना सबसे बड़ा पाप है। बुराई इसलिए बढ़ती है क्योंकि सज्जन लोग चुप रह जाते हैं। यदि अच्छे लोग समय रहते आवाज उठाएं तो समाज में बुराई कभी पनप नहीं सकती।
आचार्य श्री के प्रेरक विचारों ने उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं को आत्ममंथन के लिए प्रेरित किया और पूरा पांडाल बार-बार तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट से गूंज उठा।

“If Friendship Ever Becomes a Commodity, the World Will No Longer Be Worth Living In”: Acharya Pulak Sagar Maharaj
At Gyan Ganga Mahotsav, the revered Jain saint highlights the value of true friendship, strong character, and social responsibility, saying silence against injustice is the greatest sin.

Renowned Jain saint Acharya Shri 108 Pulak Sagar Maharaj delivered a thought-provoking discourse on friendship, character, and social responsibility during the Gyan Ganga Mahotsav on Monday. Addressing a large gathering at Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Mangalik Dham, he said, “The day friendship is bought and sold, the world will no longer be worth living in. Society survives on trust and genuine friendship.”
Organized by the Sakal Digambar Jain Samaj, the spiritual gathering witnessed Acharya Shri emphasizing that in today’s world of increasing nuclear families and busy lifestyles, true friends have become one of life’s greatest strengths. People may hide many things from their parents, he said, but rarely from a sincere friend. “Friendship does not have to be deep, but the trust within it must be,” he added.
Acharya Shri described friendship as life’s greatest treasure, saying, “There is no wealth greater than friendship and no picture more beautiful than true companionship. It may appear as delicate as a fragile thread, yet no chain is stronger than it.”
Referring to the life of Lord Rama, he noted that during exile, Lord Rama found devoted friends such as Hanuman, Sugriva, and Angad. He explained that three blessings are rare in life—a good spouse, worthy children, and true friends. While a spouse and children are gifts from God, friends are chosen by individuals themselves. Therefore, the quality of one’s character determines the quality of one’s friendships.
“Duryodhana Was Not Corrupted by Mobile Phones, but by Bhishma’s Silence”
Speaking about the challenges faced by today’s youth, Acharya Pulak Sagar Maharaj said it is unfair to blame mobile phones and the internet alone for moral decline. Citing the Mahabharata, he remarked, “Duryodhana was not influenced by technology. The real tragedy was Bhishma Pitamah’s silence during Draupadi’s humiliation.”
He stressed that remaining silent in the face of injustice is the greatest sin. Echoing Lord Krishna’s message, he urged people to speak up for truth and righteousness at the right time. “Evil prevails not because it is powerful, but because good people choose to remain silent. If righteous people raise their voices in time, evil cannot flourish,” he said.
Acharya Shri’s inspiring discourse deeply moved the audience, encouraging them to strengthen their moral values, uphold true friendship, and actively stand against injustice.
