विजयमती माताजी के नाम पर सर्किल/चौराहे के नामकरण की मांग जैन समाज ने जिला कलेक्टर को सौंपा मांग पत्र
कामवन की गौरवशाली विभूति प्रथम गणिनी आर्यिका विजयमती माताजी को स्थायी सम्मान देने की उठी मांग, जुरहरा जैन समाज ने भी अलग से सौंपा समर्थन पत्र

धर्मनगरी कामवन की ऐतिहासिक एवं आध्यात्मिक पहचान को नई गरिमा प्रदान करने की मांग को लेकर सकल दिगम्बर जैन समाज कामवन ने जिला कलेक्टर मयंक मनीष को विस्तृत मांग पत्र सौंपते हुए जैन धर्म की प्रथम गणिनी आर्यिका रत्न पूज्य विजयमती माताजी की स्मृति में एक प्रमुख सर्किल/चौराहे का निर्माण एवं उसका नामकरण “प्रथम गणिनी आर्यिका रत्न विजयमती माताजी सर्किल” किए जाने की मांग की। इसी क्रम में जुरहरा जैन समाज ने भी अलग से ज्ञापन देकर इस मांग का समर्थन करते हुए जिला प्रशासन से शीघ्र सकारात्मक निर्णय लेने का आग्रह किया।
सकल दिगम्बर जैन समाज कामवन के अध्यक्ष अनिल जैन लहसरिया ने कहा कि डीग जिला अपनी ऐतिहासिक, धार्मिक एवं सांस्कृतिक विरासत के लिए देशभर में विशेष पहचान रखता है। इसी जिले की धर्मनगरी कामवन, जहां ब्रज संस्कृति के साथ-साथ जैन धर्म की भी गौरवशाली परंपरा रही है, जैन धर्म की प्रथम गणिनी आर्यिका रत्न विजयमती माताजी की जन्मस्थली होने का गौरव प्राप्त है। ऐसी महान संत विभूति की स्मृति में आज तक किसी प्रमुख चौराहे अथवा सर्किल का नामकरण नहीं होना क्षेत्र की जनभावनाओं के अनुरूप नहीं है।
मांग पत्र में उल्लेख किया गया कि पूज्य विजयमती माताजी ने अपने तप, त्याग, वैराग्य, संयम एवं आध्यात्मिक साधना के माध्यम से जैन धर्म के मूल सिद्धांतों—अहिंसा, करुणा, आत्मसंयम और सदाचार—का देशभर में व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार किया। उनका जीवन केवल जैन समाज ही नहीं, बल्कि संपूर्ण मानव समाज के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत है। उन्होंने अपने आध्यात्मिक व्यक्तित्व एवं आदर्श जीवन से समाज को नई दिशा प्रदान की तथा नारी शक्ति, संयम और संस्कृति के उच्च आदर्श स्थापित किए।
संजय जैन बड़जात्या ने कहा कि आर्यिका रत्न विजयमती माताजी की जन्मभूमि कामवन है और उन्होंने सम्पूर्ण देश में जैनत्व के उत्थान तथा आध्यात्मिक चेतना के प्रसार के लिए अभूतपूर्व कार्य किए। लाखों लोगों को संयम, धर्म का मार्ग अपनाने में संबल दिया, यह कामवन ही नहीं, बल्कि पूरे भरतपुर सम्भाग व डीग जिले के लिए गौरव का विषय है। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों को ऐसी महान विभूति के जीवन, त्याग और तपस्या से प्रेरणा मिले, इसके लिए उनके नाम पर एक भव्य सर्किल या चौराहे का निर्माण एवं नामकरण अत्यंत आवश्यक है।
ज्ञापन में सुझाव दिया गया कि कामवन का वह प्रमुख चौराहा, जहां से बोलखेड़ा,कोसी,पहाड़ी एवं जुरहरा मार्ग की ओर आवागमन होता है, इस सर्किल के निर्माण एवं नामकरण के लिए उपयुक्त स्थान हो सकता है। इससे क्षेत्र की धार्मिक पहचान को नई गरिमा मिलेगी और श्रद्धालुओं के साथ-साथ पर्यटकों को भी कामवन की आध्यात्मिक विरासत की जानकारी प्राप्त होगी।
जैन समाज के प्रतिनिधियों ने जिला प्रशासन से जनभावनाओं का सम्मान करते हुए इस मांग पर सहानुभूतिपूर्वक विचार कर शीघ्र आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने की अपील की। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि जिला प्रशासन इस ऐतिहासिक मांग को स्वीकार कर धर्मनगरी कामवन की गौरवशाली विरासत को स्थायी सम्मान प्रदान करेगा।
इस अवसर पर मांग पत्र सौंपने वालों में उदयभान जैन (राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री, जैन पत्रकार महासंघ), वीरेंद्र जैन (अध्यक्ष, डीग जैन समाज), ओमप्रकाश जैन (अध्यक्ष, सीकरी), संजय जैन बड़जात्या, संजय सर्राफ (कामवन), पुष्पेंद्र जैन (सीकरी), तरुण जैन (जुरहरा), शीतल जैन (कुम्हेर) सहित जैन समाज के अनेक गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित रहे। जुरहरा जैन समाज के प्रतिनिधियों ने भी अलग से ज्ञापन देकर विजयमती माताजी के नाम पर सर्किल/चौराहे के नामकरण की मांग को दोहराते हुए प्रशासन से शीघ्र सकारात्मक निर्णय लेने का आग्रह किया।

Call for Permanent Recognition of Kamvan’s Glorious Spiritual Icon, the First Ganini Aryika Vijaymati Mataji; Jurhara Jain Community Also Extends Separate Support
Deeg/Kamvan: The Sakal Digambar Jain Samaj, Kamvan, submitted a detailed memorandum to District Collector Mayank Manish, urging the administration to construct and name a prominent circle/chowk as “Pratham Ganini Aryika Ratna Vijaymati Mataji Circle” in memory of the revered Aryika Ratna Pujya Vijaymati Mataji, the first Ganini of the Jain tradition. Supporting this demand, the Jurhara Jain Samaj also submitted a separate memorandum requesting the district administration to take a prompt and positive decision.
Anil Jain Lahsariya, President of the Sakal Digambar Jain Samaj, Kamvan, stated that Deeg district is widely recognized for its rich historical, religious, and cultural heritage. Kamvan, a sacred town renowned not only for its association with Braj culture but also for its distinguished Jain legacy, has the privilege of being the birthplace of Aryika Ratna Vijaymati Mataji, the first Ganini of Jainism. He said that despite her immense contribution, no major circle or public square has yet been named in her honour, which does not reflect the sentiments of the people.
The memorandum highlighted that Pujya Vijaymati Mataji dedicated her life to penance, renunciation, self-discipline, and spiritual practice while spreading the core principles of Jainism—non-violence, compassion, self-restraint, and righteous conduct—across the country. Her life remains an inspiration not only for the Jain community but for humanity as a whole. Through her exemplary spiritual personality and ideal way of life, she guided society and established high ideals of women’s empowerment, discipline, and cultural values.
Sanjay Jain Barjatya stated that Kamvan is the birthplace of Aryika Ratna Vijaymati Mataji, who made extraordinary contributions toward the promotion of Jain philosophy and the spread of spiritual awareness throughout India. He said she inspired millions to embrace the path of self-discipline and धर्म (righteous living), making her a matter of immense pride not only for Kamvan but for the entire Bharatpur division and Deeg district.
He further emphasized that constructing and naming a grand circle in her honour would ensure that future generations continue to draw inspiration from her life of sacrifice, austerity, and spiritual excellence.
The memorandum proposed that the major intersection connecting the roads to Bolkheda, Kosi, Pahari, and Jurhara would be an ideal location for the proposed circle. Such a landmark, it said, would strengthen Kamvan’s religious identity while helping devotees and tourists alike learn about the town’s rich spiritual heritage.
Representatives of the Jain community appealed to the district administration to respect public sentiment and consider the demand sympathetically, expressing confidence that the administration would accept this historic proposal and confer a lasting tribute to the glorious legacy of the sacred town of Kamvan.
Those present while submitting the memorandum included Udaybhan Jain (National General Secretary, Jain Journalists Federation), Virendra Jain (President, Deeg Jain Samaj), Om Prakash Jain (President, Sikri), Sanjay Jain Barjatya, Sanjay Sarraf (Kamvan), Pushpendra Jain (Sikri), Tarun Jain (Jurhara), Sheetal Jain (Kumher), along with several other prominent members of the Jain community.
Representatives of the Jurhara Jain Samaj also submitted a separate memorandum reiterating the demand to name a major circle/chowk after Aryika Ratna Vijaymati Mataji and urged the administration to take a positive decision at the earliest
