गुरुवार की सुबह मुंगावली नगर अध्यात्म, श्रद्धा और उल्लास के अद्भुत संगम का साक्षी बना, जब निर्यापक श्रमण मुनिश्री 108 अभय सागर जी महाराज ससंघ का चंदेरी रोड रेलवे फाटक से नगर में भव्य मंगल प्रवेश हुआ। मुनिश्री के स्वागत में पूरा जैन समाज सड़कों पर उमड़ पड़ा। नगर की सड़कें तोरण-द्वारों, रंग-बिरंगी रंगोलियों और पुष्प सज्जा से दुल्हन की तरह सजी नजर आईं। श्रद्धालुओं के जयघोष और गुरुभक्ति से पूरा वातावरण भक्तिमय हो उठा।
मुनि संघ का विहार साजनमहू से मुंगावली की ओर हुआ। मुनिश्री के आगमन को लेकर नगर में एक दिन पहले से ही दीपावली जैसा उत्सव का माहौल दिखाई देने लगा था। श्रद्धालुओं ने अपने घरों के बाहर आकर्षक रंगोलियां बनाई और जगह-जगह तोरण-द्वार सजाकर गुरुवर का अभिनंदन किया। नगर सीमा में प्रवेश करते ही श्रद्धालुओं ने पाद प्रक्षालन कर आरती उतारी तथा आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया। इसके बाद मुनि संघ नगर के प्रमुख मार्गों से होते हुए संत निवास पहुंचा।
चातुर्मास की उम्मीदों से बढ़ा उत्साह
इस वर्ष मुंगावली में मुनिश्री अभय सागर जी महाराज के मंगल चातुर्मास की प्रबल संभावना जताई जा रही है, जिससे जैन समाज में विशेष उत्साह का माहौल है। समाज के पदाधिकारियों ने बताया कि शीघ्र ही मुंगावली जैन समाज का एक विशेष प्रतिनिधिमंडल आचार्य श्री 108 समय सागर जी महाराज के चरणों में उपस्थित होकर श्रीफल भेंट करेगा तथा मुंगावली में चातुर्मास की स्वीकृति एवं मंगल आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने का आग्रह करेगा।
‘गुरु आज्ञा से ही जागेगा नगर का भाग्य’
संत निवास में आयोजित धर्मसभा को संबोधित करते हुए निर्यापक श्रमण मुनिश्री 108 अभय सागर जी महाराज ने मुंगावली समाज की भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की। उन्होंने कहा कि समाज में आज भी वही पुराना उत्साह, श्रद्धा और समर्पण देखने को मिला है, जिसे सदैव बनाए रखना चाहिए। चातुर्मास को लेकर चल रही चर्चाओं पर विराम लगाते हुए उन्होंने स्पष्ट कहा कि चातुर्मास कब और कहां होगा, यह पूरी तरह गुरु आज्ञा पर निर्भर करता है। जहां गुरु का आशीर्वाद मिलेगा, वहीं उस नगर का सौभाग्य जागृत होगा। उन्होंने समाज से अधिक से अधिक पुण्यार्जन और धार्मिक भावनाओं को सशक्त करने का आह्वान किया।
भक्ति और अनुशासन से सजी शोभायात्रा
मंगल प्रवेश के दौरान निकली भव्य शोभायात्रा आकर्षण का केंद्र रही। सबसे आगे वीर सेवा दल के कार्यकर्ता व्यवस्थाएं संभालते हुए चल रहे थे। उनके पीछे महिला समिति एवं महिला परिषद की महिलाएं पारंपरिक वेशभूषा में सिर पर मंगल कलश धारण किए कतारबद्ध चल रही थीं। वहीं जैन समाज के युवा धार्मिक भजनों और गुरुभक्ति के गीतों पर झूमते हुए वातावरण को और भी भक्तिमय बना रहे थे।

Thousands of devotees accord a grand welcome as Muni Shri 108 Abhay Sagar Ji Maharaj enters the town; Jain community prepares to seek Acharya Samay Sagar Ji’s blessings for Chaturmas.
Mungaoli: The town of Mungaoli witnessed a remarkable blend of spirituality and devotion on Thursday morning as Niryapak Shraman Muni Shri 108 Abhay Sagar Ji Maharaj, along with his monastic entourage, made a grand ceremonial entry into the town from the Chanderi Road railway crossing. Members of the Jain community gathered in large numbers to welcome the revered saint, creating an atmosphere filled with faith and celebration.
The streets were beautifully decorated with traditional torans, colorful rangolis, and floral arrangements, giving the entire town a festive appearance. Devotees chanted religious slogans, performed Pad Prakshalan (ceremonial washing of the saint’s feet), offered Aarti, and sought blessings as the procession passed through the main roads before reaching the Sant Niwas.
The monastic group had commenced its journey from Sajanmahu to Mungaoli. Anticipation surrounding Muni Shri’s arrival had transformed the town into a festive destination, with preparations resembling a Diwali celebration.
Growing Expectations for Chaturmas
Excitement has further intensified with strong expectations that Muni Shri Abhay Sagar Ji Maharaj may observe the upcoming Chaturmas in Mungaoli. Community leaders announced that a special delegation from the Mungaoli Jain Samaj will soon visit Acharya Shri 108 Samay Sagar Ji Maharaj to offer Shriphal and seek his blessings and approval for organizing Chaturmas in the town.

Addressing a religious gathering at Sant Niwas, Muni Shri 108 Abhay Sagar Ji Maharaj praised the unwavering devotion and enthusiasm of the Mungaoli Jain community. He encouraged devotees to preserve this spiritual fervor and clarified that the final decision regarding Chaturmas rests entirely upon the Guru’s command.
“Wherever the Guru’s blessings are bestowed, that town’s fortune awakens. Continue to strengthen your faith and accumulate spiritual merit to fulfill your aspirations,” Muni Shri said.
Disciplined Procession Reflects Deep Devotion
The grand welcome procession reflected both discipline and devotion. Members of the Veer Seva Dal led the arrangements, followed by women from the Mahila Samiti and Mahila Parishad carrying ceremonial Kalash in traditional attire. Jain youth enthusiastically participated in the procession, singing devotional hymns and dancing to spiritual music, making the occasion a memorable celebration of faith.
