आवां स्थित सुदर्शनोदय जैन अतिशय तीर्थ क्षेत्र में सोमवार को आयोजित प्रातःकालीन धर्मसभा में संत शिरोमणि आचार्य श्री विद्यासागर जी महाराज के परम प्रभावक शिष्य, ज्येष्ठ एवं श्रेष्ठ निर्यापक श्रमण मुनि श्री 108 योगसागर जी महाराज ने कहा कि भारत को समृद्ध, सशक्त और आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए कृषि, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य तथा रोजगार जैसे महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में भारतीय परंपराओं और प्राचीन पद्धतियों को पुनः अपनाना होगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि युवा पीढ़ी को केवल नौकरी की मानसिकता तक सीमित नहीं रहना चाहिए, बल्कि उत्पादन आधारित कार्यों और स्वरोजगार की दिशा में आगे बढ़ना चाहिए। अपने प्रवचन के दौरान उन्होंने एक दोहे के माध्यम से गेहूं की तुलना में बाजरे के गुणों का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि बाजरा अधिक गुणकारी और स्वास्थ्यवर्धक है। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि भारत में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन की शुरुआत हो चुकी है और पूर्ण बदलाव आने में कुछ समय अवश्य लगेगा।
मुनिश्री ने कहा कि संन्यासी और न्यासी, दोनों का आहार संतुलित होना चाहिए। उन्होंने चिंता जताई कि विदेशी शिक्षा प्रणाली और विदेशी भाषाओं के अत्यधिक प्रभाव ने भारतीय संस्कृति, परंपराओं और जीवन मूल्यों को काफी हद तक प्रभावित किया है।
धर्मसभा के उपरांत मुनि श्री योगसागर जी महाराज ने आवां में संचालित विद्याशीष हथकरघा प्रशिक्षण एवं उत्पादन केंद्र का अवलोकन किया। यह केंद्र आचार्य श्री विद्यासागर जी महाराज की प्रेरणा और आशीर्वाद से नौ वर्ष पूर्व प्रारंभ किया गया था। यहां अनेक युवक-युवतियों को हथकरघा का प्रशिक्षण देकर स्वरोजगार से जोड़ा जा रहा है।
मुनिश्री ने कहा कि शुद्ध हस्तनिर्मित वस्त्र भारत की प्राचीन एवं सुदृढ़ अर्थव्यवस्था का महत्वपूर्ण आधार रहे हैं। ऐसे लघु उद्योग गांवों से पलायन रोकने, ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत करने और लोगों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि आचार्य श्री विद्यासागर जी महाराज की प्रेरणा से देशभर में हथकरघा केंद्रों के साथ-साथ गोशालाओं और जीव-दया से जुड़े अनेक सेवा प्रकल्प भी संचालित किए जा रहे हैं।

Stresses Indian models of agriculture, education, healthcare, and self-employment during discourse at Awan; visits handloom training centre

During the morning religious discourse held on Monday at Sudarshanodaya Jain Atishaya Teerth Kshetra in Awan, Muni Shri 108 Yog Sagar Ji Maharaj, the senior Niryaapak Shraman and a distinguished disciple of the revered Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, said that India can become prosperous, strong, and truly self-reliant only by reviving its traditional values and indigenous systems in key sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, and employment.
He emphasized that the younger generation should not restrict itself to a job-oriented mindset but should instead move towards production-based enterprises and self-employment. During his discourse, he referred to a traditional couplet comparing wheat and millet, highlighting millet’s superior nutritional value and health benefits. He expressed confidence that India has already begun its journey of positive transformation, though complete change will take time.
Muni Shri further stated that both ascetics and trustees should maintain a balanced diet. He expressed concern that the excessive influence of foreign education systems and foreign languages has significantly weakened Indian culture, traditions, and core values.
Following the discourse, Muni Shri Yog Sagar Ji Maharaj visited the Vidyashish Handloom Training and Production Centre in Awan. Established nine years ago under the inspiration and blessings of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, the centre has been training young men and women in handloom weaving, enabling them to achieve self-employment and economic independence.
Muni Shri said that pure handmade textiles once formed the backbone of India’s strong traditional economy. He noted that cottage industries such as handloom play a crucial role in preventing rural migration, strengthening village economies, and promoting self-reliance. He further informed that, inspired by Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, numerous handloom centres, cow shelters, and various animal welfare and compassion projects are being successfully operated across the country.
